Meet the Team
Beverly Burgdorf Owner/Artist
Beverly and her husband started CFA in 2012 at the Williamsburg Antique Mall, selling antique books, folk/outsider art and Beverly's original art work. In 2014 CFA moved to its current location expanding into a full pottery studio and handmade gallery along with continuing to also sell antique books, hand colored etchings and prints. Beverly loves teaching, watching her clients create their own pieces, and selling them in her attached gallery, Jux.ta.po.si.tion. Beverly is also a production potter who sells her own work wholesale to other shops across the country.
Rachael Jones General Manager/Artist
Rachael and her husband were first retail customers then students at CFA Pottery. Shortly after discovering CFA in 2019, Rachael’s career path transitioned. She had been in aviation for 18 years, last serving as a Regional Sales and Customer Service Standards Manager. Rachael decided to persue her love for art and started Sunraes Studios. With a focus in leather art she joined The Art House, an art co-op next door to CFA (also managed by Beverly). In September 2019, Rachael joined the CFA team. Rachael enjoys helping our retail customers find one of a kind art pieces, teaches handbuilding lessons in our pottery studio and helps manage Beverly’s wholesale business. You can also find her leather art in our gallery.
